About Me

Tülay is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the School of Earth, Environmental and Marine Sciences (SEEMS) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Rochester under the supervision of William D. Jones and completed her postdoctoral training at University of Wisconsin-Madison and Northwestern University. Before joining the faculty at University of Texas-Pan American (now UTRGV) in 2013, she was a lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
